On-Site Consult
We offer professional in-person consultations focused on plant/garden health and Gulf South–appropriate plant selection. In a 1-hour walk-through of your property, we will be available to answer your questions in-person while assessing site conditions and make recommendations based on your maintenance goals, wildlife habitat, privacy needs, style, and budget. $250.
Ecological Design
We design landscapes to restore and enhance our South Louisiana ecosystem. Our projects merge ecological and functional design principles to create beautiful landscapes that manage water, enrich soil, require minimal maintenance, and provide valuable ecosystem services. We work with natural plant communities that would have likely existed on the site historically or are suited to its current conditions.
Landscape Install
We manage our projects from conceptual design through construction and early establishment. Our experience in creating natural landscapes allows us to plan efficiently, identify potential challenges early, and address them holistically. We plant South Louisiana local ecotype plants. Local plant genetics are well-adapted to our unique climate and soils and have a more authentic relationship with local insects. The long-term environmental health and success of your landscape is very important to us!
Natural Swimming Pools
We design chemical-free swimming pools filtered through planted wetlands. These systems rely on natural processes (gravel, water flow, and native plants) to keep the water clear and healthy. These pools are simple, functional, beautiful, built for long-term ecosystem balance and low maintenance. You get a place to swim that fits into the landscape and supports local wildlife. We take care of the full process: design, permits, construction planting, water quality, and maintenance
Pond Restoration
We restore ponds to be healthy, balanced ecosystems. Using native plants, natural filtration, and careful grading, we improve water quality, reduce erosion, and support local wildlife. Whether it’s overgrown, stagnant, or leaking, we assess the site, remove invasives, and rebuild it to function with the land around it. The result is a low-maintenance, living system that holds water, supports biodiversity, and looks good year-round.
Garden Maintenance
Our garden maintenance service caters to those living in suburban and urban settings. We understand the importance of keeping your native garden visually pleasing and presentable to the public! We carefully manage plant growth to maintain a tidy and welcoming appearance and highlight seasonal beauty while preserving the habitat value of your native landscape.
