Swamp Fly is a women-owned landscape design and build company rooted in the natural heritage of the Gulf South, known for creating landscapes of uncommon beauty.

We begin by noticing what a place is already trying to become. Light caught in the canopy, moisture held low in the ground, the long invitation of a sightline, the instinct to be sheltered here and opened there. We deeply value the experience a landscape can impart on a person and a place, and think of good design as less about adding than about allowing.

We thoughtfully consider movement through the space so that the landscape does not arrive all at once. It reveals itself in returns. When it is right, a landscape does not feel designed. It feels recognized… inseparable from where it stands, and impossible to imagine otherwise.
